I am a psychotherapist interested in-depth therapy with clients who want long-term transformation. When people come to see me for assistance, they often are in a current state of emotional pain or confusion. As I invite my patients to speak about what feels unspeakable in their lives and come to terms with past suffering, hope becomes possible. Only after establishing a safe and collaborative working relationship can we begin to understand the factors that have contributed to the present circumstances and deepen our understanding of how these experiences affect us.

Some people who come to see me have never been in psychotherapy before. Others have had prior experiences in treatment but find that their problems reoccur and discover that a deeper understanding of themselves may be necessary for more successful and enduring change. Some of the problems that I offer help with are:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma

  • Dissatisfaction with relationships

  • Identity issues

  • Marriage difficulty

  • Eating Disorders - in particular, ARFID or OSFED

  • Complicated grief

  • Stress management for adults caring for elderly parents

  • Work with individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol dependence

  • Interference with the creative process
